1. Guidelines

All the speakers of the Conference and presenters of accepted article should register for the Conference. Any guests, who are interested to participate in the Conference, are welcome to register.

At least one of the authors of each accepted article is required to register for the Conference in order to cover the expenses of printing the paper in the proceeding and presenting the paper during the conference.

To register for the Conference, you should read the following instructions and information regarding the venue, registration fee, hotel arrangement, refund policy, payment method, etc. and complete the online registration form.

3a. Full payment of the above registration fee entitles

Regular participant
a. Seat for the 3 days Conference;
b. Conference Proceeding, which will be distributed at the conference;
c. Coffee Breaks;
d. Banquet (Scheduled on May 23, evening).
e. First Paper Registration (For paper authors only).

Regular participant (IEEE member)
The same as regular participant.

Participants who are IEEE member must provide their IEEE membership information when filling the registration form.

Regular participant (Student)
The same as regular participant.

Student participants who must be a full-time registered student at any university or equivalent tertiary institution.

Students who wish to take advantage of the student registration discount must bring along the Approval Letter for Student Registration signed by their supervisors or head of the department of their universities or institutions to the Conference registration desk.

3b. Additional Fees

Additional Papers
For participants with accepted papers who need to register more than one paper, an additional charge of US$340 is required for each additional paper. For those participants who are IEEE members and full-time students, the additional charge for additional papers should be US$300 each.

Additional Pages
For participants with accepted papers, please note that the maximum length of paper for regular paper and short paper is 8 pages and 6 pages respectively. If your camera-ready paper does exceed this maximum limit, an additional charge of US$30 is required for each additional page.

The number of additional page is limited up to 3 pages for both regular paper and short paper. More pages that exceed this limit are not accepted.

Extra Banquet Tickets
A Chinese Banquet will be held on evening of May 23, 2000. Banquet tickets are available for participants to purchase at the conference registration desk, the price is US$50 each.

Extra Proceedings
Extra copies of the conference proceeding can also be purchased at the conference registration desk during the conference. Each costs US$50.




4. Hotel Arrangement

Room reservation service is provided by the Grand Stanford Inter-Continental. You can make your room reservation at this hotel and there are various room rates provided.

Airport transportation service is also provided by the hotel at an economic price, so it is convenience for you to reach the conference location. You can obtain more informtaion from the Hotel Reservation Form. Please download it and send the completed form to the Reservations Manager of the hotel directly, via either fax or email, on or before 10 May 2000.

5. Refund Policy and Cancellation Charge

6. Payment Method

All payment for the Conference registration must be made in Hong Kong (HK) dollars that will be handled by the Hong Kong iBiz Limited which is our payment organizer. To pay the registration fee, for convinience, we only accept bankdraft or money order in Hong Kong dollar.

After you have completed the registration by filling the registration form, you need to buy a Hong Kong dollar bankdraft made payable to Hong Kong iBiz Limited with the exact amount listed on the online registration form.

You can send it to the Company by regular mail or registered post within 7 days. Be sure to mark your name and registration number at the back of the bankdraft and indicate clearly that it is for the registration fee for PDCAT2000.

To enjoy the early bird discount rate, your bankdraft must be received by the Company on or before May 1, 2000.

7. Online Registration
